Best tourist places to visit in Jaipur 

Jaipur is a  Capital cityof indian state Rajasthan . Popularly known as pink city . Going back to history , Jaipur was founded in 1727 by the rajput ruler Jai Singh 2 . Jaipur was the first planned city of India.  During British rule , it was the capital of Jaipur state . But from India Independence , it is capital of new formed state Rajasthan. 

It is one of India best and favoured tourist site. It is also Gateway for major tourish spots like Jodhpur , Jaisalmer , Kota ,etc . 

It is best known for its historical Monument and its culture. 

Here are some of the must visit places in Jaipur . 

1- jantar mantar 

Jantar_Mantar is a collection of 19 Astronomical instruments build by sawai Jai Singh ll. It has the world largest Sundial . It is also a World_Heritage_Site . It was build for watching celestial bodies like moon , stars ,etc. 

Basically it is an observatory . There are many huge instruments which are made for accuracy reasons . 

2- Amer/Amber  fort 

It is located on top of aravalli hills . It was build by Meenas . It is beautifully loaded by gardens and big gates . Going from main gate , a park with Beautiful flowers and greenish area is a sitting place for tourists .

. Along with that a Mughal architecture garden build called as chaar baag .

Maota_Lake was the main water supply for Amer_Fort . Honestly now its condition is not good. Amer fort is known for its best wall paintings and architecture . Inside the fort , there is one more tourist attraction , it is Sheesh_Mahal or palace of mirrors . 

It's opening time is 8:00 am and closing time 5:30 pm 

3- Hawa mahal                                                        

Hawa_Mahal also called palace of wind or palace of breeze . It was build by Maharaja sawai Pratap Singh in 1798. It is 5 storey building , looks like a Honeycomb . It has 953 windows called jharokhas . It is build up in Rajput architecture style with red and pink sandstone . 

The windows are made up in such a architectural way that people from inside and see outside world but outside people can't see inside . If u are a architecture and history lover then it is best place to visit . It has opening time 9:00 am and closing time 4:30 pm . 

4- Jal Mahal                                                               

Jal_Mahal is a beautiful building build in between the lake called as Man_Sagar_Lake . It is located in the way to Amer fort . It was build during rajput era and shows a best combination of rajputana and mujhal architecture . 

It is made up of red sandstone  . Like Hawa mahal , it is also a 5 storey building but , u can see only 1 storey building because 4 storey remain under water . U can reach there by traditional boats . 

5- Sanjay Sharma Museum                              

It was build in the memory of Sanjay Sharma who died and there parents collected 100,000 different manuscripts . I personally visited there and I love that place . If u are a history Enthusiast's u must visit there . It has a paid entry of 100 rupees . 

It is located directly opposite to Jal Mahal in the way to Amer fort . It's opening time is 10:00am and closing time is 5:00pm .
